Taipei, Taiwan, May 29, 2014 - QNAP Systems, Inc. today announced that its HS-210 and TVS-870 NAS products have won the highly-regarded COMPUTEX Best Choice Award 2014 for excellence in the Peripherals & Accessories category and Computers & Systems category (respectively).

The HS-210 is a fanless & silent NAS for the living room, designed with a stylish and silent set-top design to sit alongside HDTVs, consoles and other elements of a digital lifestyle. With a revolutionary thermal design that intelligently dissipates heat, the Silent NAS series runs smoothly even under heavy load. It is also eco-friendly with power saving features such as hard disk standby and power management scheduling options.

The TVS-870 is a powerful vNAS with an integrated Virtualization Station that enables virtualized desktop operations on the TVS-870 for centrally managing multiple virtual machines such as Windows, Linux, and UNIX. It also supports VMware® ESXi, Citrix® XenServer, Microsoft® Hyper-V and Windows Server 2012, providing flexible deployment and management in virtualization environments for business users. With optional 10GbE network expansion, TVS-870 is also ideal for large-capacity file storage, transfer, and on-the-fly HD media editing.

The Best Choice Award is organized by COMPUTEX TAIPEI, one of the world’s largest ICT procurement platforms. All of the exhibitors at COMPUTEX TAIPEI of that year may apply for the award.
